Job summary

6AM City, LLC is seeking a passionate Speech Language Pathologist to evaluate, diagnose, and treat speech, language, voice, and swallowing disorders with a focus on pediatric populations across home and school settings.

You will collaborate with educators, healthcare professionals, families, and caregivers to coordinate care plans, maintain detailed documentation, and ensure evidence-based intervention strategies are implemented to support communication skills and academic success.

Qualifications

  • Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited institution.
  • Current state licensure and/or certification as a Speech-Language Pathologist.
  • Experience in home setting or school settings preferred.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Responsibilities

  • Conduct comprehensive assessments of speech, language, voice, fluency, and swallowing functions using standardized tools and clinical observations.
  • Develop individualized treatment plans aligned with each client’s needs and goals, including strategies for early intervention when appropriate.
  • Implement evidence-based therapy techniques to improve speech clarity, language comprehension, social communication skills, and swallowing safety.
  • Collaborate closely with educators, healthcare professionals, families, and caregivers to coordinate care plans and ensure consistency across environments.
  • Maintain detailed documentation of assessments, treatment progress notes, and therapy outcomes in compliance with regulatory standards.
  • Participate in multidisciplinary team meetings to discuss client progress and adapt intervention strategies as needed.
  • Educate clients and their families about communication disorders and provide guidance on exercises or activities to support ongoing improvement at home or school.
