Job summary

Ampersand Therapy is seeking a Speech-Language Pathologist for a full-time school-based position in Burnsville, NC. You will provide speech and language services to K-12 students, supporting articulation, language, and fluency goals with strong mentorship for CFs.

Applicants must hold NC licensure or eligibility, a Master’s in Communication Sciences and Disorders, and strong collaboration with teachers and families. Competitive pay, benefits, and licensure reimbursement are offered.

Responsibilities

• Support students with articulation, language, fluency, and social communication.
• Partner with teachers and families to support carryover of skills.
• Maintain timely documentation, progress notes, and compliance records.
• Monitor student progress and adjust treatment plans as needed.

This role is ideal for both experienced SLPs and Clinical Fellows (CFs), with strong mentorship provided.

• Licensure from the** North Carolina Board of Examiners for Speech-Language Pathologists and Audiologists**
• Eligibility for** North Carolina licensure as a speech-language pathologist through the Department of Public Instruction**
• Master’s Degree in Communication Sciences and Disorders
• Clinical Fellows (CFs) encouraged to apply
• Strong communication and collaboration skills
