TriStar Greenview Regional Hospital is seeking a Speech Language Pathologist to help patients improve communication, cognition, and swallowing while collaborating with a supportive rehabilitation team.

You will perform swallow studies, develop treatment plans with physicians, and conduct bedside evaluations in a well-resourced setting that values clinical judgment and efficient workflows. A TN SLP license and BLS are required.

Qualifikationen

• Master’s Degree in Speech/Language Pathology.
• Current SLP license in the state of Tennessee.
• AHA BLS certification within 30 days of employment.

• Complete video fluoroscopic swallow studies according to policy and procedure.
• Develop and implement effective treatment programs in consultation with physicians.
• Treat patients in accordance with Speech/Language Pathology standards of care and practice.
• Perform bedside swallowing evaluations, accurately, and communicate results timely to all appropriate members of the healthcare team.
• Formulate a teaching plan based on identified learning needs and evaluate effectiveness of learning; family is included in teaching as appropriate.

Job Summary and Qualifications

As a Speech Therapist (SLP),youllhelp patients improve their communication, cognitive, andswallowingabilities through skilled, evidence-based care. What you will do in this role:

• You will complete video flouroscopic swallow studies according to policy and procedure in a safe manner
• You will develop and implement effective treatment programs in consultation with physicians.
• You will treat patients in accordance with Speech/Language Pathology standards of care and practice.
• You will perform evaluations such as bedside swallowing evaluations, accurately, and communicate results timely to all appropriate members of the healthcare team.
• You will formulate a teaching plan based on identified learning needs and evaluate effectiveness of learning; family is included in teaching as appropriate.

What qualifications you will need:

• Interpersonal skills to successfully interact with Patient, Staff, Physicians, Community
• Master’s Degree in Speech/Language Pathology
• Current SLP license in state of Tennessee
• AHA BLS certification within 30 days of employment
