Job description

Advanced Therapy Clinic provides ABA, ST, OT, PT, Nutrition and Counseling Therapy to children with a variety of disabilities or delays. We help clients and families in our centers, in homes, and in the community. Our goal is to bring ST and our other therapies to as many clients as possible. Our clinics are in multiple locations, and we are expanding rapidly but with careful attention to planning and resources. Client care is at the center of everything we do.

About the Role

We are looking for a Speech Therapist to join our team and help support our clients with their needs. The ideal candidate will have experience working with children and adolescents, be creative in their treatment plans, and have excellent communication skills. The Speech Therapist will be responsible for providing direct services to clients, and providing feedback to families and other team members. This is an excellent opportunity for someone who is passionate about helping others reach their full potential.

Responsibilities
  • Fun and energetic, with a genuine interest in working with children and adolescents.
  • Patience and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to work well with others and independently.
  • Flexibility and fluid with managing a caseload.
  • Conducting assessments of clients and developing and following treatment plans.
  • Assessing home and school environments of clients and deciding what adjustments are needed.
  • Educating caregivers and family members of clients on patient care.
  • Evaluating results and progress of speech therapy on clients.
  • Maintaining professional knowledge and the technical progress in order to provide clients and families with the best treatment program available.
Qualifications
  • A Master’s degree in speech-language pathology or communication disorders from a program accredited by the Council on Academic Accreditation;
  • Completion of a clinical practicum;
  • Completion of a 36 week clinical experience with a mentor;
  • Passage of a national exam approved by the Boards and passage of a Montana jurisprudence exam.
  • ASHA Cert
  • Compliant with state healthcare regulatory requirements.
  • Possess up to date knowledge of treatment practices and speech therapy programs.
