Lehigh Valley Health Network (LVHN) is seeking a Speech Language Pathologist for the Pediatric Rehab – Muhl team in Bethlehem, PA. The role involves evaluating and treating speech, language, and swallowing disorders across ages, and collaborating with families to restore function.

Minimum qualifications include a Master’s Degree in Speech Language Pathology and PA licensure upon hire, with ability to travel to patient care assignments and BLS on hire.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate speech, language, cognition, and swallowing disorders.
• Develop and update plan of care with patient/family for maximal recovery.
• Deliver evidence-based speech therapy appropriate to age and condition.
• Complete documentation and billing per department policies.
• Assist physician with determining dietary needs for dysphagia when required.

Provides assessment of patient condition based on diagnosis from the referring physician. Develops and updates an appropriate plan of care in collaboration with the patient/family to assist in returning them to their maximum level of function.
