Job summary

Coordinated Therapy Solutions is seeking a Speech Language Pathologist to evaluate, diagnose, and treat patients with speech or language disorders and to formulate individualized treatment programs.

You will work under a physician’s direction, assess residents, and develop care plans while administering tests and educating families on practicing new skills. This role requires licensure and a master’s/doctoral degree in Speech-Language Pathology.

Qualifications

  • Graduate degree in Speech Language Pathology (M.S. or PhD)
  • State license as a Speech Pathologist required
  • Proficiency with applicable state, federal, and professional standards

Responsibilities

  • Evaluate, diagnose, and treat patients with speech, hearing, cognitive, or swallowing issues.
  • Under a physician’s direction, provide direct patient treatment based on an established plan of care.
  • Screen and evaluate residents and develop appropriate care plans.
  • Plan, direct, or conduct rehabilitative treatment programs to restore communicative ability.
  • Administer, score, and interpret specialized hearing and speech tests.
  • Instruct residents, families, and caregivers to monitor speech and practice new skills.
  • Complete required forms and document according to policy and regulations.
  • Maintain patient records accurately and timely.
  • Devises special tools and treatments for patients’ specific needs.

Job Summary

The Speech Pathologist will evaluate, diagnose, and treat patients with speech or language disorders, formulate individualized treatment programs.

Duties/Responsibilities
  • Evaluate, diagnose, and treat patients with speech, hearing, cognitive, or swallowing issues.

  • Under a physician’s direction, provides direct patient / resident treatment based on established plan of care.

  • Screens and evaluates Resident and develops appropriate care plan

  • Plans, directs, or conducts rehabilitative treatment programs to restore communicative efficiency of individuals with communication and / or swallowing or cognitive problems.

  • Administers, scores, and interprets specialized hearing and speech tests.

  • Instructs residents, families, and caregivers to monitor speech and provide ways to practice new skills.

  • Completes required forms and documents in accordance with company policy and state and/or federal regulations.

  • Maintains patient records in an accurate and timely manner.

  • Devises special tools and treatments for the specific needs of patients.

Education and Experience
  • Graduate of an accredited Masters, or Doctorate in Speech language Pathology.

  • State license as a speech pathologist required.

  • Proficiency with all applicable state, federal, and professional standards

Physical Requirements
  • Prolonged periods of sitting at a desk and working on a computer.
