Park Manor Bee Cave is seeking a full-time Speech-Language Pathologist to join our in-house rehab program in Bee Cave, TX. This role focuses on evaluating and treating patients with geriatric and functional disorders within a post-acute care setting.

Qualifications

• Speech-Language Pathologist license required.

Responsibilities

• Screen and evaluate patients with physical functioning disorders and wound care; develop care plans.
• Deliver rehabilitative, skilled, and medically necessary treatment interventions per regulatory standards.
• Stand/walk regularly; assist in transfers and lifting as needed.
• Administer procedures as part of the rehabilitation plan (manual techniques, ambulation, exercises, modalities, devices, wound care).
• Provide counseling to patients, families, caregivers, and staff on physical disorders.
• Generate discharge summaries compliant with regulatory and clinical requirements.

Speech-Language Pathologist - Full Time

Park Manor Bee Cave in Bee Cave, TX, is a post-acute care facility with long-term care, short-term care, and geriatric services provided. We can offer a stable and fun in-house therapy team to work with as well as excellent programs serving our geriatric clientele in their journey to recovery. We are currently seeking a Full Time Speech-Language Pathologist for our in-house rehab program!

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct effective screening and evaluation of patients with physical functioning disorders and/or wound care, developing appropriate care plans adhering to regulatory and clinical standards.
• Deliver rehabilitative, skilled, and medically necessary treatment interventions to patients with physical functioning disorders and/or wound care, in accordance with regulatory and clinical practice requirements.
• The role involves regular standing and walking throughout the facility and occasional lifting, transferring, and repositioning of patients and equipment. Physical demands vary throughout the day based on patient care needs.
• Administer various procedures as part of the rehabilitation plan, including manual techniques, ambulation, therapeutic exercises, modalities, use of supportive and assistive devices, and wound care.
• Provide consultation and counseling to patients, families, caregivers, and other service providers regarding physical disorders.
• Generate comprehensive discharge summaries of services provided, ensuring compliance with regulatory and clinical requirements.

Qualifications

• Speech-Language Pathologist license is required.
• Open to SLPs at all experience levels. New Grads are welcome!
