Mobile Health Team Inc. is seeking an experienced Speech and Language Pathologist (SLP) for a 13-week travel assignment in Norman, OK.

The role involves screening, evaluation, and rehabilitation of patients with speech, language, cognitive, and swallowing disorders within a Long Term Care setting. You will work with the health team to develop and implement care plans, while maintaining accurate documentation and compliance with ASHA and state requirements.

Formación

• Minimum 3 years of experience; CCS preferred.
• 1 year SLP experience.
• CCC-certified SLP with LTC or Rehab experience.
• OK State License required.
• Current BLS certification.
• Ability to work independently and multitask.

Responsabilidades

• Screen/evaluate/rehabilitate patients with communication, cognitive or swallowing disorders and develop care plans.
• Use standardized assessments and evidence-based practices to guide interventions.
• Assess progress and adjust treatments in clinical records.
• Document outcomes and discharge summaries per regulatory requirements.
• Provide counseling to patients, families, and caregivers.
• Communicate with supervisor and health team about progress and barriers.
• Maintain comprehensive documentation in electronic records.

Mobile Health Team Inc. is seeking an experienced Speech and Language Pathologists (SLP) - Long Term Care (LTC) for a 13-week travel assignment i n Norman, OK.

• Start Date: 10/19/2026
• Contract: 13 Weeks
• Location: Norman, OK
• Hourly Pay: $ 33.00
• Non-taxed Stipend: $ 1246.00
• Weekly Total Pay: $ 2236.00
• SCRUB COLOR: Red
• Traveler Policy: Candidates' Permanent Address must be indicated
• Non-Billable: 8-Hours

Key Responsibilities:

• Effectively screens/evaluates/rehabilitate patients with communication, cognitive or swallowing disorders and develops appropriate plan of care following all regulatory and clinical practice standards.
• Utilizes standardized assessments and evidence-based practice to support clinical interventions.
• Assesses patient’s progress and adjust treatments accordingly in the clinical record per regulatory and clinical practice requirements.
• Evaluates treatment outcomes for effectiveness. Services are modified in relation to patient evaluation and referrals are made in relation to outcomes.
• Provides consultation and counseling to patients, as well as families, caregivers and other service providers related to the speech disorders.
• Effectively communicates with supervisor and other health team members regarding patient progress, barriers, and treatment plans.
• Provides comprehensive discharge summary of services provided per regulatory and clinical requirements.
• Documents all regulatory and clinically required information in the electronic documentation system and maintains patient records according to company policy
• Accurately records treatment minutes for services provided per all regulatory and clinical requirements.
• Participation in required meetings including but not limited to: patient care conferences, utilization review meetings, rehabilitation meetings, etc.
• Participate in facility and company required trainings, in-services and conferences.
• Able to obtain any necessary DME or supplies per regulatory and clinical practice requirements.
• Able to supervise and support CFY or Student Speech-Language Pathologists
• Adherence to ASHA and State Required practice acts, code of conduct, ethics during professional practice as a Speech-Language

Compensation:

• Weekly Pay (hourly) + Non-taxed Stipend (if eligible)

Requirements

• Must have a minimum of 3 years experience holding active CCS-preferred
• Must have 1 year of SLP experience
• Must have CCC-certified SLP
• Must have LTC or Rehab experience
• OK State License required
• New Grads OKAY- as long as a Level II experience and not just a Level I observation experience
• Must have and maintain current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification during employment
• Effective team skills including interaction, support, and respect are required.
• Strong organizational skills and ability to multitask
• Willingness to participate in continuing education and training programs
• Strong attention to detail and ability to work independently
• Excellent communication skills , professionalism, and reliability
• Must be able to work independently/hit the ground running
• Able to adapt to stressful situations quickly and effectively
• Ability to learn and apply basic computer skills including locating and opening documents, completing forms, opening and sending e-mail messages.
