Job summary

Brooke Charter Schools in Boston is seeking a Speech and Language Pathologist to provide individual and small group services, screen and evaluate students, and collaborate with families and teachers as partners in intervention. You will travel between Mattapan, Roslindale, and East Boston to serve multiple sites.

A Massachusetts professional license is required, along with strong organization and communication skills.

What is the Speech and Language Pathologist Role?

As the speech and language pathologist at Brooke, you provide individual and small group speech/language services, screen and evaluate students for the presence of speech/language disorders, and collaborate with parents and teachers, engaging them as partners in the student's therapeutic intervention. You also generate, maintain, track, and update all required student records including but not limited to: speech/language evaluation reports, IEP goals and objectives, IEP progress notes, etc. Travel between schools is required, as you will be serving students across two school sites.

The salary range is $72,000-$129,000, commensurate with experience.

Speech and language pathologists will also earn an additional $3,300 stipend for working in a high-need field.
