Job summary

The Association of Test Preparation, Admissions, and Private Tutoring (TPAPT) seeks Educational Therapists or SPED certified teachers for Math or ELA interventions for grades 8–12.

Positions are contract-based with 3–12 hours weekly, offering 60-minute sessions at centers, client homes, or libraries. Bachelor’s degree required; Master’s preferred. Experience >3 years and SPED/EF familiarity are valued. Compensation ranges $55–$75 per hour.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required; Masters preferred.
• SPED certification preferred.
• Experience with EF-based learning and neurodivergent students.
• 3+ years of teaching or intervention experience.

Responsibilities

• Provide math or literacy tutoring with patient coaching.
• Create dynamic study plans based on assessments for neurodivergent students.
• Sessions occur at the learning center, client home, or neutral locations such as libraries.
• Each tutoring session lasts about 60 minutes.
• Use provided assessments and supplemental curricula as needed.
• Avail 3–12 hours per week; flexible schedule.
