Job summary

The Association of Test Preparation, Admissions, and Private Tutoring seeks Educational Therapists or SPED certified teachers with Math or ELA intervention experience for Grades 8-12. Roles are contract (1099) with 3–12 hours weekly, and flexible locations including learning centers, client homes, or neutral venues.

Ideal candidates have >3 years of teaching/intervention experience, strong planning skills, and knowledge of EF-based learning and ASD/ SPED needs.

Qualifications

• Experience with EF-based learning and SPED/ASD.
• Bachelor's degree required, Master's preferred.
• Strong lesson planning and subject-matter expertise.

Responsibilities

• Provide educational coaching with Math or Literacy tutoring.
• Use assessments to create dynamic study plans for neurodivergent students.
• Tutoring sessions at learning center, client's home, or library.
• Sessions usually last 60 minutes; follow provided assessments.
