Job summary

Specialized Education Services, Inc. (SESI) is seeking a dedicated special education teacher to support K-12 students in in-district classrooms or standalone schools.

You will diagnose learning and emotional needs, craft individualized lesson plans, and apply SESI’s PBIS CASE framework to foster growth in a supportive setting. You will work with diverse student groups, utilize SESI curricula, and maintain essential documentation while driving progress toward academic and social goals.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree from an accredited institution.
• Valid teaching credential appropriate to the role.
• Commitment to learning and implementing feedback.

Responsibilities

• Work with a diverse group of students from varying backgrounds.
• Use SESI’s instructional models and curricula to teach skills.
• Develop and maintain individualized lesson plans.
• Implement behavior management and crisis intervention strategies.
• Maintain student documents (IEPs, BIPs, incident reports).
• Track student growth toward academic and social goals.
• Supervise and transport students within the school.
