Job summary

New Story Schools in Pennsylvania is seeking a Special Education Teacher to design and deliver individualized instruction. You will create a structured classroom that supports learning and social-emotional growth.

The role requires a bachelor’s degree, PA special education certification, and collaboration with a multidisciplinary team; you will develop IEPs, track progress, and lead classroom staff.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree and valid Pennsylvania Special Education teaching certification.
• Minimum three months of experience working with students with disabilities.
• Knowledge of child development, differentiated instruction, and behavior management.
• Strong organizational and communication skills.
• Ability to lead and collaborate within a multidisciplinary team.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement IEPs and lesson plans that meet each student’s needs.
• Deliver engaging instruction using varied teaching methods.
