Job summary

Therapy Source, Inc. is seeking a full-time Special Education Teacher to provide in-person services in the Resource setting for grades K-5 at a charter school.

The role runs for the remainder of the current school year with hours from 8:25am to 3:25pm, Monday through Friday. You will implement specially designed instruction, monitor progress, and collaborate with families and general education staff to translate IEP goals into measurable outcomes.

Qualifications

• North Carolina Special Education certification.
• Up-to-date clearances required.
• Proof of professional liability insurance (or willingness to obtain).

Responsibilities

• Implement specially designed instruction to drive student achievement.
• Conduct progress monitoring and adjust instruction based on data.
• Establish a positive, structured, achievement-focused classroom.
• Provide support to students, parents, and general education staff and support student learning.
• Mentor and coach students on self-regulation and organizational skills.
• Develop effective IEPs that translate into measurable results.
• Participate in multidisciplinary meetings.
