Job summary

BRICK Networks seeks to hire SPED teachers dedicated to serving underserved Black and Brown students in Buffalo. You will use data to drive instruction, collaborate with a coaching team, and commit to building strong relationships with students and families.

The role emphasizes humility, cultural competence, and quick feedback integration to support academic, behavioral, and social-emotional growth within a community-focused network.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree required from an accredited college or university.
• A valid teaching license/certification or an active pathway to acquire one is required.
• Current authorization to work in the United States by first day of employment.
• ESSA Highly Qualified status or ability to meet standards.

Responsibilities

• Demonstrate proficiency in working with Black and brown students from diverse backgrounds.
• Create and maintain a positive, safe classroom environment.
• Use data from observations and assessments to inform instruction.
• Collaborate with coaches and peers to share best practices.
• Attend required meetings and participate in professional development.
