Job summary

Onward Education is partnering with a Plymouth County, Massachusetts school district to hire a dedicated Special Education Teacher for a short-term assignment from September 2026 through December 2026. This onsite role supports upper elementary students in inclusive and specialized settings, providing push-in and pull-out services to 4th and 5th graders.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or higher in Special Education.
• Valid Massachusetts DESE license or eligibility for licensure.
• Experience with elementary or upper elementary students preferred.
• Strong collaboration and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Provide push-in and pull-out SPED services to 4th and 5th grade students.
• Implement and monitor IEP goals and accommodations.
• Collaborate with general education teachers to support grade-level access.
• Monitor progress and use data to inform instruction.
• Maintain documentation and ensure compliance with SPED requirements.
• Support families, educators, and related service providers.
