Job summary

ConnectedHealth is seeking a Special Education Teacher for a 36-week contract in Round Rock, Texas. The role focuses on creating and implementing individualized lesson plans, managing activities, and collaborating with families to support students with IEP goals.

Earn up to $53 per hour with competitive benefits. The position requires a Texas Special Education Certification and at least 1 year of classroom experience.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Education or Special Education or equivalent.
• Valid Texas State Teaching Certification in Special Education or equivalent.
• Minimum of 1 year of experience in a school setting.
• Familiarity with behavioral strategies, IEPs, and classroom management.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work collaboratively with staff, students, and families.
• Background check, fingerprinting and district clearance requirements.
• Adherence to school policies and safety protocols.
• Comfortable working in a dynamic educational environment.

Responsibilities

• Implement individualized lesson plans to support students' learning needs.
• Manage classroom activities and foster a positive learning environment.
• Collaborate with staff, general education teachers, and families to support student success.
