ProCare Therapy seeks contract Special Education Teachers near Killeen, TX for the 26/27 school year, with openings at middle and high school levels. This role emphasizes inclusive learning and supporting student achievement.

Qualified candidates hold a Texas SPED license and dual certification (EC-12 SPED with either 4-8 Core or 7-12 Core), plus experience with diverse learners and strong collaboration skills.

Qualifications

• Active Special Education Teacher License issued by the state of Texas.
• Dual certification: EC-12 SPED and either 4-8 Core (middle school) or 7-12 Core (high school).
• Experience with diverse student populations and varying learning abilities.
• Strong collaboration with multidisciplinary teams, parents, and school staff.
• Excellent communication, organization, and classroom management abilities.
• Flexibility, patience, and genuine passion for student growth.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement Individualized Education Plans (IEPs) in compliance with state and federal regulations.
• Deliver engaging, differentiated instruction aligned to students' unique needs and strengths.
• Work collaboratively with general education faculty and support staff.
• Track and report on student progress, providing regular updates to parents and administration.
• Create a safe, positive, and supportive classroom environment that encourages learning and social development.
