Job summary

Faith North Preschool within Phoenix Elementary School District #1 is hiring a SPED Preschool Instructional Assistant. The role supports teachers in small groups or one-on-one, with a starting date immediately and a pay range of $17.27–$20.47 per hour depending on education and experience.

Qualifications

• Associate's degree or equivalent of 60 semester hours required.
• Preferred prior experience with children in educational settings.
• Must be able to write reports and communicate with administrators, staff and the public.

Responsibilities

• Assist teachers with planning, preparation, and distribution of classroom materials.
• Provide individualized or small-group instruction to reinforce skills.
• Supervise and instruct children; prepare materials for bulletin boards and activities.
• Support safety and orderly behavior in the classroom and school environment.
