Job summary

Qualifications

• Knowledge of instructional procedures and safety practices.
• Ability to follow multi-step written and oral instructions.
• Basic math, reading manuals, and accurate record keeping.

Responsibilities

• Adapts activities and materials to reinforce classroom objectives.
• Administers first aid or medical assistance as directed.
• Administers tests, homework, and makeup work to support teachers.
• Assists medically fragile students with personal hygiene.
• Monitors student behavior across different school settings for safety.
• Supports instruction under the supervising teacher and reinforces IEP goals.
• Communicates with staff to evaluate progress and implement plans.
