Career Links is seeking a flexible Paraprofessional to support students with diverse learning needs across a Minnesota school district. This role involves filling staff absences, assisting in SPED classrooms, and providing academic, behavioral, and personal care support.

Qualifications

• Prior school-based or behavioral support experience is required.
• Must meet Minnesota paraprofessional qualifications by at least one method.
• Pass the Minnesota Paraeducator Competency Exam.
• Have at least 60 semester credits from an accredited college or university.
• Comfort with toileting and personal care when required.
• Ability to respond calmly to challenging behaviors and follow strategies.
• Flexibility to work across different school locations and assignments.
• Reliable attendance and strong communication; team-oriented.

Responsibilities

• Provide coverage for staff absences across designated schools or district areas.
• Support SPED classrooms in 1:1 or classroom paraprofessional roles.
• Assist with behavioral needs and implement behavior plans.
• Support academic activities, routines, transitions, and social-emotional development.
• Assist with personal care needs, including toileting, as required.
• Maintain a safe, structured, and supportive learning environment.
• Collaborate with teachers and staff to support student success.
• Adapt to changing assignments and student needs throughout the district.
