Job summary

Aberdeen School District in Aberdeen, WA is seeking a paraeducator for a 6‑hour day, 190 days per year. You will assist teachers and students in classroom activities and help prepare instructional materials.

Responsibilities

Monitor student progress and share observations with teachers and guardians.
Assist teacher in daily management and safety of children; supervises activities.
Prepare instructional and non-instructional materials; assemble supplies and post bulletin boards.
Supervise individuals and small groups; tutor and monitor classroom activities.
Monitor student behavior and progress; may attend parent-teacher conferences.
May assist with health-related duties and testing administration.
Maintain confidentiality of student information and records; attend trainings.
Perform other related duties as assigned.
