Job summary

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent required; one of AA degree, 72 college credits, or paraeducator assessment test.
• Proficient in basic spelling, math and grammar.

Responsibilities

• Monitors student progress and shares observations with teachers and guardians.
• Assist teacher with daily management, safety and supervision of students.
• Prepare instructional materials and assemble worksheets, lessons and supplies.
• Supervise individuals and small groups during structured activities and classwork.
• Maintain student records, attendance and data; support testing processes.
• Attend program meetings and training beyond the regular school year.
