Job summary

Alpine School District is hiring a Special Education Para-Educator III (Half Day) at Silver Peak School in Orem, UT. The role supports a class from Pre-K through 6th grade, with morning/afternoon hours and a starting hourly pay of $19.96, negotiable by experience.

Qualifications

• Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs.
• Experience with IEP meetings preferred.
• Proficient in behavior support strategies.

Responsibilities

• Assist in instruction and supervision of students with special needs.
• Support in implementing IEP objectives and behavioral plans.
• Monitor student behavior to maintain a safe learning environment.
• Provide instructional support in small groups and individual activities.
• Assist with self-care activities (toileting, eating, dressing, grooming).
• Attend meetings and trainings as required.
