Qualifications

• High school graduation or equivalent.
• Associate degree or 48 college credits, or a minimum passing score on para-pro assessment.
• Current CPR/AED certification required and must be maintained for duration of assignment.
• Preference for bilingual abilities and typing skills (35 wpm).

Responsibilities

• Assist professionals in instructional programs and materials.
• Support attendance, discipline, and behavior management under supervision.
• Prepare and distribute instructional materials and reports.
• Assist with transportation coordination and student safety tasks.
• Record student progress and assist with medication administration per parent authorization.
• Perform CPR/AED when necessary and complete district forms as assigned.
