Job summary

Paradise Valley Unified School District is seeking a SPED Occupational Therapist for a .8 FTE interim assignment in Phoenix, AZ. The role focuses on assessing students, developing sensorimotor goals, and implementing therapy within the school environment.

You will collaborate with teachers, parents and the SPED team to provide direct OT services, create educational materials, and contribute to accessibility improvements across campuses.

Qualifications

• Master's Degree in Area required.
• Occupational Therapist license (OTR/L) required.
• CPR certification and IVP fingerprint clearance required.

Responsibilities

• Provides direct occupational therapy services to develop students' sensorimotor skills according to goals and objectives.
• Develops and implements IEP goals and educational materials addressing sensorimotor deficits.
• Collaborates with teachers, parents, special education teams and other personnel to coordinate therapy services.
• Maintains records and documents progress, evaluations, IEPs and billing information for compliance.
• Interprets outside medical reports to inform school-based therapy decisions.
• Participates in meetings and trainings to support student services and program development.
