Job summary

South Lane School District's Cottage Grove High School is seeking an Educational Assistant / SPED Office Manager for the 2026-2027 school year. The 7.5 hour/day position supports students with educational needs in classrooms and around campus, emphasizing organization, collaboration and strong communication.

Under supervision of the building administrator and staff, duties include one-on-one support, reading/writing and math skill development, and behavior management.

Qualifications

• The ability to help school staff establish and maintain a positive climate of learning.
• Excellent student behavior management skills.
• Superior communication skills.
• Experience and skills in reading/writing and math instruction.
• Experience working with special needs students and small groups is desired
