Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED.
• Educational coursework and prior classroom experience preferred.
• CPR and First Aid training.
• Possess or qualify for a New Mexico Level III Educational Assistant license.
• Demonstrate aptitude for the work to be performed.
• Such alternatives to the above qualifications as the Superintendent may find appropriate and acceptable.

Responsibilities

• Display a desire to work with students and serve as a role model.
• Work as a member of a team and communicate effectively with staff and students.
• Assist licensed personnel in a classroom where individual differences are respected.
• Assist with supplementary work for students and supervise independent study.
• Use current technology for instructional needs and maintain confidentiality.
