Job summary

Wonderful College Prep Academy in Delano, CA, seeks a Special Education Instructional Assistant to support lead teachers and uphold high expectations for students with special needs. You will assist in classrooms, provide 1:1 or small group instruction, and help manage behavior and medical needs with compassion. Schedule: Monday–Friday, 7:30 am–4:30 pm.

Pay range: $20.80–$28.20 per hour. Full-time benefits include medical, dental, vision, life insurance, and a 403(b) with company match.

Qualifications

• Associate’s degree required.
• Bachelor’s degree preferred.
• Substitute Permit preferred.
• Bilingual in Spanish/English preferred.

Responsibilities

• Support lead teachers to maintain high expectations for all students.
• Provide 1:1 or small group instruction as needed.
• Assist with behavioral/medical needs and interventions.
