The Princeton Independent School District is seeking a Classroom Instructional Aide to support teachers and students in a U.S. elementary/middle setting. Under direct supervision, you will assist with instructional activities and classroom management.

Qualifications

• HS diploma or GED required.
• Associate's degree or two years of college preferred or required.
• Ability to assist in reading, writing, and math instruction.
• Strong communication and team collaboration skills.

Responsibilities

• Provide instruction to students under teacher direction; work with individuals or small groups.
• Assist in preparing instructional materials and classroom displays.
• Assist with administration and scoring of tests or assignments.
• Maintain neat and orderly classroom.
• Assist with inventory, care, and maintenance of equipment.
• Help teacher keep administrative records and prepare required reports.
• Provide orientation and assistance to substitute teachers.
• Cover classes for teacher absences when substitutes are not available.
• Supervise students inside and outside classroom; note special needs.
• Participate in staff development and faculty meetings.
