Qualifications

• Candidates may qualify with a passing score on the ParaPro exam (457).
• Or 48 semester hours of college credit with specified language arts, math, writing and reading credits.

Responsibilities

• Assist under teacher supervision with IEP-related activities.
• Prepare classroom for activities and assist with displays/bulletin boards.
• Maintain safety and well-being of students in Special Education classes.
• Assist with playground/cafeteria/school-related supervision and routines.
• Attend home visits as necessary and participate in in-service activities.
