Independent School District 15 is seeking a SPED Educational Assistant for Cedar Creek Elementary (K-5) for the 2026-2027 school year. The role supports students and teachers in classrooms, promoting student independence and academic growth.

The position runs 171 duty days (8:45 am–3:45 pm). Salary starts at $19.52+ per hour based on experience, with comprehensive district benefits and opportunities for professional development.

Qualifications

• Complete PCA training before New Hire Orientation
• Preferred: Experience working with students with special needs; CPI certification
• Provide students with defined supports from their IEP under the direction of the special education teacher.
• Collect data on student progress in the general or special education classroom under the direction of the special education teacher.
• Partner with teachers and administrators to provide the best possible educational environment for students.
• Participate in professional development opportunities throughout the school year to best serve students.
