Job summary

Five Town CSD in Maine is hiring a SpEd Ed Tech III for the Life Skills Transitional Team (ages 18+), located at Union Elementary School. This full‑time role collaborates with teachers to implement IEPs, collects data, and supports students across regular, self-contained, and therapy settings.

The position offers a competitive pay range of $25.06–$27.58 per hour, health and dental insurance, sick and personal days, holidays, and retirement benefits; background checks and Maine Tech III

Qualifications

• Background check and fingerprinting required.
• Maine Department of Education Tech III Certification required.
• Preference given to candidates with Special Education experience.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with team members to support implementation of student IEPs.
• Collect academic and functional data.
• Support assigned students in general and/or special education settings, including the regular classroom, the self-contained classroom, and therapy classrooms.
• Support students during lunch and during other nonacademic times.
• Assist students with activities of daily living.
• Teach students about community resources through outings and supported job shadowing.
