Job summary

The Illinois Association of School Administrators seeks an experienced administrator to supervise and evaluate certified and support staff within district operations. The role enforces personnel policies and participates in recruitment, screening, hiring, and training across departments.

You will assist with tenure/dismissal decisions and coordinate related service personnel. You will lead in curriculum planning, health and safety assessments, and maintain administrative records and reports.

Qualifications

  • Illinois Public Educator License, General Administrative Endorsement, and Teacher Evaluator Designation required
  • Undergrad degree in special education preferred, or a related services field (school psychology, school social work, etc.)
  • Supervisory and/or leadership experience in special education programs, including leading Section 504 meetings and/or IEP meetings
  • Supervisory and/or leadership experience managing building-level programming, parent concerns, and student discipline
