Job summary

Fulton Education Center in Texas is seeking a SPED Bridges Aide - Behavior Interventionist 26-27 to support students whose behavior interferes with learning. You will mentor and assist on campuses and in BRIDGES programs as a resource for teachers.

Responsibilities include implementing behavior plans, crisis prevention/intervention, and data collection. Qualifications: HS diploma or GED, 48 hours paraprofessional training, CPI/ autism or ED certification, and relevant experience.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED.
• Completed 48 hours of paraprofessional training or equals.
• Certification related to autism or emotional disturbance.
• Experience with children/youth in behavioral and crisis contexts.

Responsibilities

• Participate on campus team to implement behavior intervention plans.
• Provide crisis prevention/intervention and de-escalation when needed.
• Assist with BRIDGES program points/levels and classroom behavior systems.
• Escort students to BRIDGES when risk exists and monitor behavior.
• Document student behavior for progress and crisis situations.
• Analyze behavioral data and communicate with teachers and staff.
• Support teachers with behavior-related needs and materials.
• Maintain confidentiality and professional conduct at all times.
