Job summary

Clear Creek ISD seeks a dedicated Aide - SPED SD (2026-27) to support identified students in a district specialized social development class. You will assist the teacher with instruction and behavior management and contribute to the district’s mission and strategic plan.

The role requires a High School diploma or GED, Educational Aide II certification, and at least 15 college hours or a Paraprofessional Exam passage.

Qualifications

• Clear Creek ISD requires a high school diploma or GED and an Educational Aide II certification.
• Candidate should have at least 15 college hours or pass the Paraprofessional Exam.
• Effective communication and interpersonal skills are essential.

Responsibilities

• Assist the teacher by providing instruction and behavioral interventions for identified students.
• Use safe procedures for physical intervention with acting-out students.
• Implement individualized reinforcement plans for student behavior.
• Supervise time-out and isolation as needed.
• Monitor and document data for student records.
• Prepare instructional materials and routine records.
• Maintain confidentiality of student information.
• Collaborate with staff to meet district goals.
