Job summary

Turner Unified School District 202 at Oak Grove Elementary School seeks a SPED Paraeducator to assist the Instructor in creating a positive learning environment and to facilitate the personal, social, and intellectual development of students. The role requires collaboration with staff and administration to support daily classroom activities.

Responsibilities include implementing district guidelines, responding to individual student needs, and promoting effective communication within the school

Qualifications

• Must have at least 48 college credit hours, obtained an associate’s (or higher) degree; or passed the Para Praxis Test.
• Health and Inoculation Certificate on file in the Central Office (after employment offer is made).
• Knowledge of the operation of various office machines.
• Desire to continue career improvement by enhancing skills and job performance.

• Ensure all activities conform to District guidelines.

• Work to implement the vision and mission of the District.

Starting at $15.70 per hour (plus $ .25 /hr)

Purpose: The SPED Paraeducator assists the Instructor in creating a positive learning environment to facilitate the personal, social, and intellectual development of students. To accomplish these tasks, the Paraeducator works closely with the staff and administration of the District.
