Job summary

Qualifications

• Must have 15 college hours or high school diploma/GED with ParaPro passing score
• Ability to communicate with students with disabilities
• Maintain effective working relationships with staff and families
• Minimum clerical skills and basic organizational abilities
• Willingness to obtain CDL within first year if required

Responsibilities

• Assist special education teachers with instructional programs
• Support in employability and daily living training in community settings
• Assist in transporting students in the community setting
• Collect data and maintain confidential student records and charts
• Provide non-medical assistance such as basic care and personal support as outlined in IEPs
• Help prepare and duplicate instructional materials
• Maintain and clean equipment for student programs
