Qualifications

• Bilingual may be required for respective positions.
• College hours for Title I campus: 48 minimum or a score of 464 on the ParaPro test.
• College hours 15 or high school diploma or GED with paraPro score 464 for Non-Title I campus.
• Minimum clerical skills.
• Maintain confidentiality of student records.
• Paraprofessional Educational Aide II certificate required once employed.

Responsibilities

• Assist teachers with preparation, implementation, and data collection of student academic, behavioral, and functional goals.
• Deliver accommodations and supports to students with IEPs in whole group, small group, or individual settings.
• Assist with classroom management and behavioral plans; perform other duties as assigned.
• Maintain confidential student records.
• Perform Other SHARS duties as assigned.
• Provide personal care as identified in applicable student IEPs.
