Job summary

School Of Science & Technology Woodlands is seeking an Educational SPED Aide to support Special Education teachers and assist students in a classroom setting during normal school hours in Spring, TX.

You will help with small-group or individual instruction, reinforce behavior plans, supervise during meals and breaks, and participate in ARD/IEP data collection and paperwork. Prior experience with children is preferred; a high school diploma or GED is required.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required; 48 college hours preferred; experience with children preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assists teachers with student academic goals by working with small groups or individual students.
• Supports classroom management and behavioral plans to create a conducive learning environment.
• Supervises students during meals, breaks, assemblies, and events.
• Assists with ARD/IEP paperwork and data collection for special education documents.
• Supports planning and implementation of differentiated instruction for individual students and groups.
• Performs other duties as assigned.

Education
