Job summary

Clear Creek ISD is seeking an Aide - SPED SD for the 2026-27 year to support identified students in a district social development class. You will assist the teacher with instruction, data collection, and behavioral interventions in a structured setting at Falcon Pass Elementary in Houston, TX.

Requirements include a HS diploma or GED, Educational Aide II certification, and 15 college hours or Paraprofessional Exam; 8 hours of crisis intervention training and strong communication skills are

Qualifications

• Proven ability to communicate clearly with students, staff and families.
• Experience supporting students with disabilities in a classroom setting.
• Knowledge of district safety policies and data documentation practices.

Responsibilities

• Assist teacher by providing instruction and behavioral interventions for assigned students.
• Use safe procedures of physical intervention with acting-out students as trained.
• Implement positive and negative reinforcement to guide student behavior.
• Supervise time-out and isolation as required and document data for records.
• Prepare instructional materials and maintain routine records.
• Monitor students in settings outside the classroom and maintain confidentiality.
