Responsibilities

• Assist teachers with attendance records, typing, preparing instructional materials.
• Reinforce appropriate behavior per ARD plan and school discipline guidelines.
• Guide individual students or groups in daily activities in school and in the community.
• Supervise small groups of students in community settings.
• Contribute to a positive school climate through praise, encouragement, and example.
• Assist students with severe physical handicaps as required.
• Clean, disinfect, and maintain equipment and supplies.
• Demonstrate CCISD Core Values in actions and communications.
• Pursue professional learning opportunities for personal growth.
• Research district policy and practices before taking action.
• Collaborate as a team member to meet district and department goals.
• Demonstrate proficient levels of technology applications.
