Job summary

Clear Creek ISD is seeking a dedicated Aide - Behavior Monitoring Support Services to assist teachers in a district special education setting. You will support identified students, implement behavioral strategies, and help maintain data records.

The ideal candidate will have a High School diploma or GED, Educational Aide II certification, and 48 college hours or a paraprofessional exam. Training in crisis intervention is required, with strong communication and teamwork skills.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED is required.
• Educational Aide II certification required.
• Completion of 48 college hours or passing score on Paraprofessional Exam.
• Minimum 8 hours training in physical restraint and crisis intervention.
• Experience with children in educational or care settings preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assist teacher by providing instruction and behavioral interventions for identified students.
• Assist in implementing safe procedures for physical intervention when needed.
• Provide positive and negative reinforcement for student behaviors as appropriate.
• Supervise and document time-out or isolation events per district policy.
• Maintain confidentiality of student information and data records.
• Prepare instructional materials and routine records for classroom use.
• Monitor students in settings outside the special education classroom.
• Collaborate with staff to meet district goals and student needs.
