Job summary

SA-TECH seeks a Spectrum Manager to support the DoD at Dugway Proving Ground in Utah. You will analyze radio spectrum requirements, coordinate with the DPG Government Spectrum Manager, and ensure compliance with DoD frequency assignments.

Responsibilities include collaboration with DoD tenants, potential field work, and adherence to rigorous security and safety standards. U.S. citizenship and DoD Secret clearance are required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering or electronics or eight years of directly related electronics or communications experience.
• Must be able to analyze radio spectrum frequency requirements and determine compatibility with other DPG, DoD and tenant organizations.
• Must be able to work with the DPG Government Spectrum Manager to ensure mission capability and compliance within the DoD frequency assignments.
• A commitment to maintaining a productive and collaborative working environment.
• Current Driver’s License required; must be able to be insured through company’s vehicle insurance policy while driving work/government/rental vehicles during working hours, and for the duration of employment.
• U.S. Citizenship required and you must have a U.S. DoD Secret Security Clearance prior to hire date and maintain this clearance throughout employment.
• Must be able to pass a pre-employment drug screening and physical, as well as periodic retests.
• All candidates will be required to pass background screening to include SSN, Driver’s Record, and a Criminal Background Investigation.

• Work with the DPG Government Spectrum Manager to ensure mission capability and compliance within the DoD frequency assignments.
