Job summary

SA-TECH is seeking a Flight Operations/Aviation Technician to support DoD test facility operations at Dugway Proving Ground, Utah. The role requires coordinating air traffic activities, monitoring flight plans and meteorology, and maintaining flight-line safety in a demanding environment.

The position mandates specialized training, U.S. citizenship, and a DoD Secret clearance, with the ability to pass pre-employment screenings.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent.
• Specialized training in air traffic control operations.
• Knowledge of flight plans, meteorology, navigation, flight line safety, and other information pertinent to airfield support.
• Experienced in emergency services coordination for lost aircraft or aircraft in distress.
• A commitment to maintaining a productive and collaborative working environment.
• Current Driver’s License required; must be able to be insured through company’s vehicle insurance policy while driving work/government/rental vehicles during working hours, and for the duration of employment.
• U.S. Citizenship required and you must have a U.S. DoD Secret Security Clearance prior to hire date and maintain a Secret clearance throughout employment.
• Must be able to pass a pre-employment drug screening and physical, as well as periodic retests.
• All candidates will be required to pass background screening to include SSN, Driver’s Record, and a Criminal Background Investigation.

Responsibilities

• Provide support for air traffic control operations.
• Track and monitor flight plans, meteorology, navigation, flight line safety, and other information pertinent to airfield support.
• Experienced in emergency services coordination for lost aircraft or aircraft in distress.
