Job summary

Medical Diagnostic Laboratories (MDL), a member of Genesis Biotechnology Group, is seeking a Specimen Resolution Assistant I in Hamilton Township, NJ. The role supports the Quality Control department by resolving specimen discrepancies and coordinating communications with physicians and clients.

The position requires basic computer literacy and preferred prior customer service or phone experience. A high school diploma is required, and the work environment involves moderate phone and clerical

Responsibilities

• Resolve specimen discrepancies by contacting physicians, sales staff, and clinical labs to confirm missing or discrepant information.
• Log and monitor all discrepancy notices via fax or phone.
• Handle incoming and outgoing calls with clients.
• Process test additions and cancellation requests.
• Coordinate shipping of specimens per physician requests.
• Assist SRC Coordinator with projects and tasks as needed.
• Perform other related duties as required.

Specimen Resolution Assistant I

Job Summary: Medical Diagnostic Laboratories(MDL), a member of Genesis Biotechnology Group, is a CLIA certified clinical laboratory with multiple state licensing, specializing in state of the art, automated DNA based molecular analysis of a variety of chronic and infectious illnesses.

MDL specializes and performs Polymerase Chain Reaction (PCR) with a larger menu of testing available in the field of infectious disease. Our main theme of research is in the field of Gynecology, Infectious Diseases, Infectious Arthritis, Tick-borne Diseases, Mycology, and Chronic Fatigue Syndrome (CFS).

The Specimen Resolution Assistant will assist in the resolution of all specimen discrepancies received by the Quality Control department.

Essential Functions:

• Contact physicians, sales staff, and clinical laboratory via fax or phone call to clarify any missing or discrepant information.
• Fax, log and monitor all discrepancy notices.
• Handle incoming and outgoing phone calls with clients.
• Process test additions and cancellation requests.
• Coordinate the shipping of specimens per the physician’s request.

Additional Responsibilities:

• Assist SRC Coordinator as needed with projects or additional tasks.
• Performs other similar or related duties as required or assigned.

Job Qualifications :GeneralKnowledge,Skills, andAbilities (KSA’s) required

• Basic computer literacy.
• Previous customer service or phone experience preferred.
