Job summary

Labcorp in Phoenix, AZ is seeking a Lab Receiving Specialist to join our team. The role supports specimen receipt, processing, and data entry across SIS and other systems, with a Tuesday–Saturday schedule from 7:00 am to 3:30 pm and overtime as needed.

You will unload and deliver specimens, verify paperwork, handle shipments, and communicate issues with care teams. A high school diploma and healthcare experience are preferred, with Labcorp experience a plus.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• One year or more of healthcare/diagnostic lab experience preferred.
• Labcorp experience is a plus.
• Strong data entry and familiarity with lab workflows.

Responsibilities

• Deliver specimens to designated areas and departments.
• Unload specimen containers and trays.
• Receive and process specimens in SIS and related systems.
• Monitor and document specimen status; respond to issues promptly.
• Handle FedEx & UPS shipments as priority and logistically urgent items.
• Communicate issues via email and other systems.
