Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• 1 year or more of experience in a lab or specimen processing preferred.
• 1 year of healthcare industry experience preferred.
• 1 year of assembly or manufacturing production experience beneficial.

Responsibilities

• Prepare laboratory specimens for analysis and testing.
• Unpack and route specimens to staging areas.
• Identify and label specimens accurately.
• Pack and ship specimens to testing facilities.
• Meet department activity and production goals.
• Data entry of patient information accurately and timely.
• Resolve and document any problem specimens.
