Job summary

Labcorp in Albany, NY is seeking a Specimen Processing Specialist (Casual/PRN) to join our team on the 2nd shift. The role involves accessioning clinical specimens, sorting samples, and data entry in a fast-paced, high-throughput onsite environment with client offices.

You will prepare specimens for analysis, identify and label accurately, pack and ship to testing facilities, and collaborate with client office staff while meeting production goals.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED or equivalent required.
• At least 1 year of experience in lab, accessioning, data entry, manufacturing or warehouse environments.

Labcorp is seeking a Specimen Processor II to join our team in Albany NY

Work Schedule: This is a casual/PRN position; hours will be "as needed" for 2nd Shift

Job Responsibilities

• Prepare laboratory specimens for analysis and testing
• Communicate effectively with client office staff

Minimum Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED or equivalent
• 1 year or more experience (lab, accessioning, data entry, manufacturing or warehouse

Preferred Qualifications

• 1 year or more of medical or patient facing healthcare experience

The position, Specimen Processing Specialist, will be responsible for performing clinical specimen accessioning, sample sorting and data entry in a fast-paced, high-throughput environment located onsite with one of our client offices.

Pay Range: $17.75 - $19.00 per hour

All job offers will be based on a candidate's skills and prior relevant experience, applicable degrees/certifications, as well as internal equity and market data
