Job summary

Labcorp seeks a dependable Specimen Processor I to join our Broadview Heights, OH laboratory team. You will perform clinical specimen accessioning, sort specimens, and enter data in a high-throughput setting according to standard SOPs.

Ideal candidates have a High School diploma, attention to detail, and the ability to lift up to 40 lbs. Evening shift 6:00pm-2:30am, with comprehensive benefits and opportunity for growth within Labcorp.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED or equivalent.
• 1 year or more experience in lab, accessioning, production or warehouse.
• Proficient in data entry and MS Office.
• Able to lift up to 40 lbs and pass color blindness test.

Responsibilities

• Prepare laboratory specimens for analysis and testing
• Unpack and route specimens to staging areas
• Accurately identify and label specimens
• Pack and ship specimens to proper testing facilities
• Meet department activity and production goals
• Data entry of patient information in an accurate and timely manner
• Resolve and document any problem specimens
